I had the chance to chat with Canada’s newest inductee into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, two-time CCMA Male Vocalist of the Year, and frontman for the Road Hammers: Jason McCoy and he is excited to be a part of The Great Canadian Roadtrip. This tour has Canadian country music legends: Doc Walker, Jason McCoy, and Michelle Wright all onstage together playing each others songs and telling stories.
In this interview Jason McCoy tells me how the idea behind touring together all started and it was because they all have the same agent and all three have separately talked to their agent asking about going on tour and doing a more personal and acoustic storytelling tour. So the agent reached out to all three and said: “How about you all do this together!”
Check out our interview where we talked about the tour and what to expect to see on stage.
