Justine Blanchet is new country singer-songwriter from Quebec. Her musical journey earned her many distinctions and outstanding awards as well as notable appearances at the Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe, Big Valley Jamboree, RBC Bluesfest, Global News and the Festival Country de Lotbinire where she shared the stage with The Reklaws and James Barker Band.
Justine’s new single Got Away, produced by Yann Blanger (Emerson Drive), showcases heart-breaking lyrics and an unforgettable chorus. “Got Away is the most personal song I have written so far, said Justine. The song is about walking away from someone who doesn’t deserve you and I can tell you from experience just how painful that is.”
Over the past three years, the young woman has released six other singles, which have been played on several Canadian country radio stations.
