Our guest this week on the Saskatchewan Country Closeup, is Katelyn Lehner.
Throughout perusing a University degree in Kinesiology, Katelyn continued to keep up her first passion, music. She created her own social media videos and continued writing her own material. One of her social media videos sparked the attention of a talent scout for Nashville producer, Shannon McArthur. Katelyn decided the timing was not right to begin a music career during school, so declined the opportunity. Katelyn would sing the anthem at University sporting events to keep performing.
We talked about her start in music, her athletic career during university and her debut brand new single released today.
