Update: As of approximately 7:40 p.m. Sunday, power appeared to have been restored in the Prince Albert area, as well as Shellbrook and Brancepeth areas among others.

SaskPower was working to repair a transmission outage affecting Prince Albert, Crutwell, Holbein, Shellbrook, Leask, Hafford, Marcelin, Martins Lake, Muskeg Lake First Nation, Parkside, Canwood, Sturgeon Lake, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, Fur Lake, Mistawasis First Nation, Mont Nebo, Victoire and Big River.
There is also a separate outage affecting Weldon, Brancepeth, Kinistino and all surrounding areas. SaskPower said crews were dispatched to reports of poles down.
As of 7 p.m., there was no estimated time of repair on either outage.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Sunday evening. Conditions were favourable for the storms to produce strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Some parts of the wider region experienced heavier winds than others. In Brancepeth for example , rail cars were blown off the rails.
Equipment and trees in some places took a battering.
