The Coast To Coast Closeup is presented by Melody Motors in Melfort.
Darlene Olson was raised in Northern Alberta. She grew up with a family of four brothers and two sisters. At nineteen, she left for the big city to pursue an educational journey that would provide her with the writing skills that she utilizes today. She works in Edmonton, writes and composes music, and often plays the local music scene. In the Fall of 2007, she recorded her first batch of songs on a CD titled, “Stay Up & Fight”.
She has now released a new song called ”The Other Side of Lonesome”
