Chris Henderson continues to be one of the more active Indie artists in Canada, prepping for another busy year on the road in 2020.He took home the honour of SCMA Male Artist of the Year in 2018 and 2019, and won Songwriter of the Year for “Don’t Miss Your Kiss Goodbye” in 2015, co-written with Troy Kokol.
Henderson has been featured in publications like “Country Weekly Magazine”, “Country Music News”, “Lifestyles” and many others, and has appeared on stages such as Big Valley Jamboree, Dauphin’s Countryfest, Craven Country Jamboree, Boots and Hearts, The Bluebird Cafe, the CCMA Songwriter Series, and many more. The former high school teacher is also currently serving the third year of his term on the CCMA Board of the Directors.
